In the first module of our Advanced Personal Trainer course, we lay the foundations for the proper understanding of training methods. We first understand the mechanism of adaptations in the body and then study the adaptations themselves. From this, we will derive the principles of training and how they relate to the various fitness qualities. Ultimately we shall put our newfound knowledge to use and learn the most effective and efficient process of designing training plans, and the various challenges that it presents.
